As close to flawless as you can get, the car won numerous first place best of show awards including the Open Roads Healey International Show in Lake Tahoe. Truly worthy of showing, but incredibly fun to drive, the car will be offered at the Gooding and Co. Auction at Amelia Island in March if not sold prior.
The body has been completely restored and painted in 2006/2007 to the highest quality by Pacifica Auto Body in Costa Mesa. The paint is British Racing Green and Wimbledon White. All opening gaps are absolutely perfect, and the panels are perfectly smooth. Around $40,000 was invested in paint and body work restoration alone.
The interior was restored by Heritage Upholstery & Trim in Vancouver, Canada. Seats and trim are biscuit leather, with green carpeting. All in excellent shape and showing no wear.
Rebuilt with numbers matching block by Pelican Motor Cars in Costa Mesa, CA. Less than 200 miles since rebuild.
